I can’t help but be a doubting soul, typically assuming the worst. And it’s not even limited to sports. On most days I presume every car is going to hit me, most people are out to get my money (especially now) and if it wasn’t for gravity the sky would fall on my head and no one elses. And even gravity, I assume, is just sizing me while I’m dodging the damn cars.

I’m also a details guy, remembering every little thing that is stuck to the ground on the walk to the store, what dumb ass tie my chairman had on last Friday and the twitch in the right eye of the lady I peak at on the subway platform every day as she fondles her mace can.

Some would call this all a recipe for paranoia. Feel free.

10. The Canucks Fanzone – I’m biased, but with a lot of NHL teams out there still not engaging the new media, Vancouver has done the exact opposite and should be praised for their forward thinking. On any day you can check out the fanzone for the latest news from passionate bloggers (or those mentally enslaved by the Orca) for the latest Canuck news and analysis. On gameday they have launched ongoing liveblogs that allow you to chat in real-time with fans from the United Kingdom to China and all points in between. What’s not to love?
